The Arts Alive! program teams the Springfield Arts Council with the Springfield City School District, Clark State Community College, Wittenberg University, and the Springfield Museum of Art, in partnership with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts’ innovative “Partners in Education” Program.
Arts Alive! focuses on providing professional development programs aimed at assisting teachers in Springfield and Clark County with integrating the arts into classroom lesson plans and curriculum. Special teacher workshops and opportunities to interact with professional teaching artists are incorporated during each school year, making this partnership valuable to schools, teachers and students.
