art, juggling, improvisation, word play, harmony, emotion, and above
all, virtuosity into a unique form of theatre and entertainment.
“Comedy is our bread and butter," say the FKB, "…and we layer it on
so that children of two or ninety-two will laugh at the same moment
for very different reasons,” in this show that blends nouveau
cirque, visual music, dance and theatre. Gene Shalit says “…drop
everything and go to see them!" Get ready for big laughs as The Flying
Karamazov Brothers return to the Summer Arts Festival!

Gift of the Estate
Gift of the Estate was
formed in late January, 2009 by four unlinked friends; Mike Adkins, Justin
Hicks, Jake Bonham, and Jake Rinehart. Each musician brings a different
musical preference to the table, creating a new style of music that has already
had a great response. With the release of their first E.P. entitled “Letters
From New York,” Gift of the Estate
has created a solid following and hopes to continue creating music that is loved
by all.

Griffin House
Singer, songwriter, Springfield
native Griffin House, called one of the ‘best emerging
songwriters in the United States” by CBS Sunday Morning,
discovered in a North High School drama class that he enjoyed being
in front of people and making them laugh, getting totally swept up
in performing after playing the lead role in a musical, the first
time he’d ever sung in public or otherwise. Now living in Nashville
and touring throughout the U.S., Griffin says of his music,
“Ultimately, these songs are about spirituality and trying to find
your place in the world. Specifically, it's the continuing story of
what's happening in my life, following the realization that the more
specific I am about my own life and things that have happened to me,
the more people will feel it universally.”

Oleta Adams
with special guest
Down Deep
Followers of
Oleta Adams often refer to her as the ONLY singer, and flock to
her sold-out shows all over the U.S! Raised with gospel music, Adams
released two solo albums before getting discovered by pop group
Tears For Fears in the '80s. After touring with and opening for
the group, her solo career took off in 1990. Adams cover of Brenda
Russell's track “Get Here” earned her the first of many
Grammy nominations. Throughout her career, which began with Oprah
Winfrey's endorsement of “Get Here,” Oleta has earned her devoted
fan base by staying with the essentials: unforgettable songs,
uplifting arrangements, and her honest, soulful voice!
