The Springfield Arts Council/Heritage Center's
CREATIVE CONNECTIONS Series presents this special showing of Richard
Attenborough's film "Chaplin" starring Robert Downey, Jr.
Charlie Chaplin expert Dan Kamin will introduce this
screening of the celebrated biography of cinema’s greatest comedian.
In addition to training Downey for the role, Dan actually created
the film’s comedy sequences in Chaplin’s style, and he’ll answer
your questions following the film.
Springfield News Sun’s Andrew McGinn will also be on
hand to discuss “The Silents in Springfield.”
Admission is free; no tickets are required. Please note
that seating is limited (first-come, first-served) for this event. |
